Summary: FluxGrok does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. The extension operates locally on your device. The only personal information we receive is your email address when you purchase a Pro license, which is used solely to deliver your license key.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide the service:
- Purchase email: When you purchase a Pro license through Stripe, we receive your email address to send you your license key.
- License key: Your license key is stored locally in your browser's extension storage (
chrome.storage.local). It is sent to our validation API only to verify its validity. - Payment data: All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or banking information.
We do not collect:
- Your prompts or generated content
- Browsing history or activity
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Any data from grok.com or other websites you visit
2. How We Use Your Information
- Email: Used only to deliver your license key. We do not send marketing emails.
- License key validation: When you activate or open the extension, your license key may be sent to our API (
fluxgrok.com/api/validate) to confirm it is active. No other data is transmitted. - Payment processing: Stripe processes payments and manages subscription status. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
3. Data Storage
Your license key and its validation cache are stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your device. This data is not accessible to websites you visit and is not synced to external servers except for license validation.
Our server (hosted on Netlify) stores in Supabase:
- Your email address
- Your license key
- Your subscription plan and status
- Your Stripe customer and subscription IDs

5. Data Retention
We retain your email and license data for as long as your subscription is active or as required by law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@fluxgrok.com.
6. Children's Privacy
FluxGrok is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the extension constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
